4 keys to Optimal Performance

  1. Talent is required as the starting point. To begin elsewhere is to begin with a lower likelihood for success. So set yourself up to succeed, by beginning where you have potential.
  2. Polish the talent by adding some skill, experience or knowledge. By investing in and adding to the talent that already exists, it is inevitable that exponential growth emerge.
  3. Visualization is a powerful way to engage the mental side of performance. Call it meditation, call it focus, call it “taking every thought captive”. By any name, it is a necessary & effective tool for high level production.
  4. Self-Sabotage is tough to admit, but is a very common and key reason for less than optimal performance. Sometimes it is easier to accept poor performance, when I’m in control of why it happened.
